May 29, 2019
To our valued and respected Families, Friends, Coaches and Players:
We are pleased to announce that effective May 29, 2019 Spanish Springs Soccer Club will be merging with Players North Soccer Club.
This is an extremely exciting event for both clubs, but more importantly for our families and players. Our greatest assets have always been our people and those we serve. By joining forces, we have just made a massive increase in the quality of that asset.
In coming together, we have significantly enhanced not only the expertise offered to both clubs but we've also enhanced the experience, environment and opportunities provided to our players. This transaction is a huge strategic competitive advantage for us and one that we plan on capitalizing on immediately.
This is a merger between two highly compatible clubs and by the two largest clubs in our area. Both clubs have worked together frequently in the past and both hold similar values and philosophies on player development.
Though we will now operate under the umbrella of one club, both Randy Ritter and Ryan Long will serve as Co-Presidents, looking out after their respective areas in Reno and Spanish Springs. Newly appointed Director of Coaching Jason Goodson will have full control and responsibility of day to day soccer operations.
We are excited for this step forward in our vision of becoming one of the elite clubs across the country. A task that will require a great deal of time, effort, support and sacrifice but one which all of our players deserve.

"Never Be Forgotten"
Congratulations to our very own SSSC players for signing their letter of intent to play at TMCC!
Spanish Springs Soccer Club is designed to provide each player with a fundamental base in technical and tactical skills along with an appreciation for the Game of Soccer. The club has designed a philosophy that provides each player with the opportunity to improve their soccer ability by stressing the basic soccer techniques as a foundation for the younger age groups and then building on those techniques with advanced training for older players.
While Spanish Springs Soccer Club is dedicated to providing each player with the necessary training in basic fundamentals and advanced tactics that will enable them to reach their maximum playing potential, Spanish Springs Soccer Club also places a strong emphasis on teaching coaches, players and parents “The Spirit of the Game” by stressing sportsmanship and appreciation for the opponents, officials, and parents.
